T20 World Cup 2012 – Day 4

Posted on: September 21, 2012

Today two matches were played.

First was New Zealand vs Bangladesh. Brandon Mccullum made the highest T20 score ever by doing 123 so that was a moment. New Zealand made 191-3 while Bangladesh were restricted to 132-8 meaning an easy win.

Second match was between England and Afghanistan. Luke Wright made 99. Just one short off a century. A bit unlucky but there it was, 196 scored. I felt a bit sad for the Afghans as the wickets keep falling down and down after one another. There was no plan as first three wickets fell under 20, they looked nervous. At number 8 we saw some sixes and fours and they were all out for 80 something. An easy win for England.
