The Spider Cave

Film: Star Trek Into Darkness

Posted on: June 5, 2013

So we went to see this film. I’m a fan of Star Trek from my childhood. I used to watch Star Trek The Next Generation and it was brilliant. So I kind of had the basic idea what it was about. I never really watched the first film though.

Well it was brilliant, of course. Really really good. My brother and sister went as far as saying that it was better than Iron Man 3 but I disagree. Iron Man 3 was way better than this. As I heard that the hardcore Star Trek fans didn’t like it because there was too much action in it and less of the relationship emotion and all that. Well, you had your relationships in the first movie didn’t you? Let the action roll in and boy was there action? You bet.

The bad guy named Khan (for some reason) was a cold f****r. He acted so good. Probably outweighed all of the actors. The music was a bit dull. All classical and Mozart type. I didn’t really like it but it was good. I like the way the movie started, the opening scenes. Throughout it was good. No great twists and suspense. Just straight forward action packed film.

Rating. I would rate this 6.7 out of 10.
